Andrew Freeman is the one I'd consider the number 2 in the lead singer, acoustic guitarist position, second to John in our promo video. He's an American rock singer who has played with a number of national recording acts including The Offspring &amp; Great White and he's also made live guest appearances with Def Leppard. Andrew is a solid and reliable performer who can morph into virtually any vocal style making him a great choice for the Floyd show.&nbsp;

Jonathan is a brilliant multi-instrumentalist (keys, sax, fiddle, harmonica, flute, programmer, track builder) who regularly performs with Lou Gramm of Foreigner and 80's Supergroup Asia as well as with members of Chicago, Journey, and Led Zeppelin.&nbsp;

John Menniti&nbsp;
John Menniti is a Las Vegas staple who's sung with entertainment icons like Barry Manilow and Paul Anka. He's also produced and performed in the Vegas based Albumpalooza Concert series for well over a decade and in that capacity, he's played bass and fronted over a dozen successful tribute shows all over the country.&nbsp;

Peter Kizzire&nbsp;
Peter Kizzire is one of the most accomplished drummers in the industry having performed with a variety of different touring acts at venues ranging from the showrooms of Las Vegas to the main stages of special events and festivals all over the country. He has that rare ability to solidly hold down the beat behind the band while singing lead vocals at the level of the best front men in the business. Peter is right at home and in his element playing in high-caliber world class musical productions everywhere.&nbsp;

Master guitarist Larry Esparza has toured the world as the guitar player for the legendary Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. He's performed in our Floyd Show many times and besides being an excellent player, he's got a great voice, and his vocal range is expansive.&nbsp;

With four gold albums, two platinum albums, and over six million record sales worldwide, Di Meola’s artistry has left an indelible mark on music history. His accolades include five gold albums, one Grammy award, 12 Guitar Player Magazine awards, and prestigious honors like the Miles Davis Award, a Lifetime Achievement Award from the BBC, and an Honorary Doctorate from Berklee College of Music.

Dweezil Zappa was born on September 5, 1969, in Los Angeles, the son of the iconic musician Frank Zappa. Over the past three decades, Dweezil has carved out an eclectic and illustrious career that spans music, television, film, and entrepreneurship.
A Grammy-winning guitarist, Dweezil has left an indelible mark on the music industry with over 2000 concerts performed worldwide. Known for his masterful performances and deep connection to his father's music, Dweezil returned to concert stages in 2024 for the first time since the 2020 Hot Ratz Live! Tour, continuing to guide fans through the thrilling and sophisticated world of his father’s music. His aptly named “Rox-Postrophy” Tour returns to North America in 2025 with shows in major cities across the US and Canada.
His virtuosity on the guitar is matched only by his prolific compositional skills, which have generated numerous original works spanning multiple albums including “Confessions of Deprived Youth” (1991) and "Via Zammata" (2015). Notably, his compositions have even been performed by a 100-piece orchestra in Holland, showcasing his versatility and command of orchestral arrangements. His music effortlessly traverses genres, seamlessly weaving together elements of rock, fusion, and experimental sounds, all while maintaining a signature style that is unmistakably his own. In addition to his solo work, Dweezil has collaborated with an impressively varied roster of artists, including Edward Van Halen, Deep Purple, Lisa Loeb, Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock and Steve Vai, among others.&nbsp;
In 2020, Dweezil further solidified his reputation as a pioneer in the industry by completing construction on "Hikari," a state-of-the-art multimedia studio. As a sought-after audio mix engineer, he showcased his expertise by crafting the stereo and Atmos mixes for the 50th anniversary re-release of Deep Purple's legendary album "Machine Head" in 2024, cementing his status as a unique voice in sound engineering.
Beyond his artistic pursuits, Dweezil is deeply passionate about music education. He frequently shares his knowledge and expertise by teaching guitar, both through his own music camp, "Dweezilla," and online lessons. His collaborative spirit has led him to work with a diverse array of musicians all while honoring the legacy of his father, Frank Zappa.

CAKE: the Sacramento, CA based band that continues to maintain a wealth of originality. If Hank Williams Sr. and Sly Stone were having a party together, and they played AC/DC records backwards… that would be this band.
CAKE's adherence to their original guiding principles has only grown stronger over the years. Originally formed as a somewhat antagonistic answer to grunge, CAKE’s democratic processes, defiant self-reliance, and lucid yet ever-inventive music has made them a nation-state unto themselves, with no evident peers in sound or perspective. In addition to writing, arranging, producing, and performing their own music, they have taught themselves to engineer their recording projects in their Sacramento-based solar-powered studio, which regularly generates more power than is needed to run it, causing the building’s electrical meter to run in reverse.
CAKE’s most recent album, Showroom of Compassion, debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart and was touted as “deadpan brilliance” by The New Yorker Magazine. While seamlessly blending many genres and influences, CAKE truly issues forth a sound and vision unlike any other band. The band is currently at work on their ninth album due for release during autumn 2024. Additionally, there will be a limited edition “Live from Folsom” album issued during summer 2024

Everclear, one of the leading alternative rock bands to emerge from the ‘90s, celebrated their 30th Anniversary in 2022, and founder, vocalist and guitarist Art Alexakis has made it clear that he has no plans to slow down. Since forming in 1992, Everclear has enjoyed a lengthy career by any measure, spanning 11 studio releases, including four that have been certified Gold or Platinum, selling over 6 million records, and achieving 12 Top 40 Hit Singles on Mainstream Rock, Alternative, and Adult Top 40 radio, including “Santa Monica,” “Father of Mine,” “I Will Buy You A New Life,” “Wonderful” and “Everything To Everyone,” as well as numerous videos, thousands of shows, and various other accolades, including a 1998 Grammy nomination.
After the demise of his band Colorfinger in 1992, Alexakis was struggling to make it in Portland, where he’d moved from San Francisco. That extremely difficult personal and creative period was the crucible that forged Alexakis into the fiery songwriter heard on the early Everclear demos, the Nervous &amp; Weird EP (1993), and ultimately the World of Noise LP, both released on the Portland independent label Tim/Kerr Records. The original 1993 release of World of Noise, paired with the band’s significant efforts to break into college radio and the buzz they’d created within the Portland music scene, attracted the attention of major labels, including Capitol Records, which signed the group soon after. Beginning with their major-label debut, 1995’s platinum-selling album Sparkle and Fade, and its massive chart-topping hit “Santa Monica,” Everclear was soon a household name and catapulted into the masses, thus allowing their impressive three-decade career to prosper and endure.&nbsp;&nbsp;
In 2019, while being treated for an injury caused by a minor car accident, Alexakis was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) and learned that he had likely been living with the disease for nearly twenty years. Since being diagnosed, Art has donated one dollar from every ticket purchased for his performances to charities such as Sweet Relief Musicians Fund and National MS Society.&nbsp;&nbsp;
In 2022, Everclear reissued World Of Noise as a special 30th Anniversary remastered, deluxe edition, making the album available for the first time on digital streaming platforms with 6 bonus songs in addition to its original 12 tracks. Adding to the celebrations that year, Everclear released a commemorative anniversary video, “Everclear – 30 Years Gone: A Retrospective,” hosted by former MTV VJ, current radio host and longtime friend Matt Pinfield, and embarked on a lengthy North American Tour. One special stop on the tour, back in Alexakis’ hometown of Los Angeles, was recorded and filmed for a new live album. Live at The Whisky a Go Go, set for release September 8, 2023 via Sunset Blvd. Records, features all the hits and hidden treasures from throughout Everclear’s extraordinary catalog as well as two new original bonus studio tracks.
 In addition to his thousands of Everclear performances over the band’s lengthy career, Alexakis created and runs the annual Summerland Tour, which features a package of popular ‘90s alt rock bands, and he released his first solo album, Sun Songs, in 2019. More than three decades later, Everclear’s enduring legacy and ongoing appeal as a live band continues.

Sunken Garden Theater

The yearlong celebration of Brackenridge Park’s 125th culminates with Concert in the Park, a once-in-a-lifetime event featuring San Antonio’s own Grammy-award-winning musician and songwriter, Christopher Cross who will be joined by the San Antonio Philharmonic conducted by Maestro Peter Bay.
Christopher Cross burst onto the music scene with his 1980 self-titled debut album, winning five Grammy Awards, including the “Big Four” most prestigious awards for the first time in Grammy history: Record of the Year (for the single “Sailing”), Album of the Year, Song of the Year (also “Sailing”), and Best New Artist. In a career spanning more than four decades, Cross has sold more than 10 million albums. His music has garnered five Grammy Awards, an Oscar, a Golden Globe, an Emmy nomination, and five Top 10 singles.
Joining Cross will be the San Antonio Philharmonic which envisions a San Antonio in which every resident has access to high-quality orchestral performances and educational opportunities that reflect the history and culture of our community. These musicians are “seeking ways to involve new audiences in the transformative power of music and re-invent the orchestra of the 21st century.”
The performance will be conducted by Maestro Peter Bay who has appeared with over eighty different orchestras. He became Music Director and Conductor of the Austin Symphony Orchestra in 1998, is the Primary Conductor for the Austin Ballet, Conductor of the Bravo! Big Sky Classical Festival Orchestra (MT) and Arizona Philharmonic and has conducted albums and soundtracks to include Christopher Cross’ Secret Ladder album.&nbsp;
Brackenridge Park Conservancy is hosting Concert in the Park on December 4th, the day George W. Brackenridge made the first bequest to establish Brackenridge Park 125 years ago.
Ticket sales are final. All proceeds go towards raising funds to preserve and enhance Brackenridge Park, a 400-acre park and important natural area in the heart of San Antonio. Ticket sales will be used to preserve and enhance the park’s natural, historic, educational, and recreational resources for current and future generations.&nbsp;
Brackenridge Park Conservancy’s policy for events states no refunds or exchanges will be issued for fundraisers once the purchase is complete. In the event of cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, we ask ticket holders to consider their purchase as a donation to the park, otherwise a refund could be issued upon request.
