Japanese rock band FLOW, known for countless anime song contributions, is coming to The Empire as part of the band's largest-ever and first five-continent tour in its history-“FLOW WORLD TOUR- ANIME SHIBARI 2024-2025."  The tour title "ANIME SHIBARI" meaning “Anime-only” in Japanese, denotes that they will only perform the numerous songs that FLOW has contributed to Japanese animation. Many of FLOW's most popular songs will be performed, including songs from "NARUTO," "Code Geass," "Dragon Ball Z," and more. The 5-member mixture rock band was started by brothers KOHSHI (older brother, vocals) and TAKE (younger brother, guitar) in 1993, completing into its current member formation in 2000. After debuting in 2003, FLOW has an established reputation for hit anime works, including themes for anime “NARUTO” (GO!!!, many others), opening themes for “Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion”, (COLORS, WORLD END), and the opening theme for ”Tales of Zestiria the Cross” (Kaze no Uta). They have written songs for numerous other anime works as well. Since 2006 they have been active playing shows not only in Japan but overseas, performing over 60 live performances in 19 countries in Asia, North America, South America, Europe, and the Middle East, transcending borders as a live band. Strongly streamed, their song “Sign” for the opening of “NARUTO Shippuden” has been played over 120 million times worldwide on Spotify. FLOW celebrated their 20th anniversary on July 2, 2022, and on November 16 released the single "Daydream Believer" in collaboration with ORANGE RANGE. In July 2023, the band's largest one-man performance, "FLOW 20th ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL LIVE 2023 ~Anime Shibari Festival~" was held at Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall in Japan.

All persons entering the theater, regardless of age, must have a ticket.   Security & Bag Check: For your safety and security, all guests will be subject to screening by walk-through metal detectors before entering the theatre. Weapons, including concealed carry firearms & pocket knives are strictly prohibited. Bags and purses larger than 10” x 10” x 10”, as well as backpacks, will not be permitted. LOCATION CHANGE Due to circumstances beyond our control, the FLOW concert on August 15th at The Espee in San Antonio has been moved to the Charline McCombs Empire Theatre located at 226 N. St. Mary's Street in San Antonio on the same night. New tickets will be reissued and sent to the email on your account. Tickets for the original location at The Espee will no longer be valid. Patrons who purchased seats in the Pit area, price level P1, will be seated in the orchestra level up front and all others will be seated accordingly by price level. Seating will be general admission by section and will be on a first come, first serve basis. If you purchased any VIP packages, information will be sent out to you in a few days before the event. Patrons who purchased add-on options that included First Class, Center Stage and SP Lounge will be automatically refunded. A credit will reflect on your account in approximately 3-5 business days.
