San Antonio Broadway Theatre, in affiliation with The Majestic Empire Foundation, is thrilled to present School of Rock – the electrifying musical comedy based on the hit Jack Black film, featuring an unforgettable score by the legendary Andrew Lloyd Webber. Directed by the talented Logan Epstein this professional production promises high-octane performances, show-stopping talent, and a Broadway-caliber experience that will knock your socks off!

Meet the Cast
Leading the charge as wannabe rocker Dewey Finn is Tanner Berry, last seen stealing the show in SABT’s Rock of Ages. The incomparable Alexis Semevolos-Velzquez takes on the role of Rosalie Mullins, returning to SABT following her standout performances in Cabaret, Rent, and Rock of Ages. Jack Ducat and Alexandra Shepherd join the fun as Ned Schneebly and Patty, respectively.

But the true stars? A jaw-dropping group of 13 young actor-musician prodigies from the Northeast School of the Arts, Folks Middle School, Keystone School, Helotes Elementary School, St. Mary’s Hall, and homeschool programs, ready to blow you away as they rock out LIVE on their instruments!

The ensemble features the remarkable talents of Joshua Cook, Daniela Landa-Gonzalez, Brian Hodges, Georgie Lee, Salomon Lopez, Ray Seams, Ellen Sisley, Olivia Roth, and Shelby Ward.

Creative Team
Under the visionary direction and choreography of Logan Epstein, with music direction by Austin Kimble, this production boasts stunning designs: lighting by MacKenzie Mulligan, set by Carlos Nine, costumes by Lauren Cosio Kotkowski, and stage management by Ruben Cruz.

School of Rock is recommended for ages 10+ due to adult language and some mature content. Run time is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, including intermission.
