The Celestial Awards

The Celestial Awards show is presented by Women in Film & Television San Antonio, an official chapter of the global organization founded in 1973 in Hollywood. Honoring and recognizing women in media and entertainment, The Celestial Award categories include “The Carol” award endorsed by Carol Burnett, "The Lila" Award named for Lila Cockrell for Civic Leadership, "The Rosemary" Award Rosemary Kowalski for Culinary Arts & Hospitality, "The Susan" Susan Award for Sports Entertainment named for Dr. Susan Blackwood, and, The Celestial Award for excellence in Producing, Performing Arts, Broadcasting, Music, Journalism, Theatrical, and Live Events Entertainment. The evening showcases local and national talent, presenters, honorees, and promises to entertain and surprise the audience. Join us in celebrating these accomplished women in Texas along with our sister awards shows in Los Angeles, New York City, and around the world!

Security & Bag Check:

For your safety and security, all guests will be subject to screening by walk-through metal detectors before entering the theatre. Weapons, including concealed carry firearms & pocket knives are strictly prohibited. Bags and purses larger than 10” x 10” x 10”, as well as backpacks, will not be permitted.
